Elementary analytics

Elementary analysis allows the analysis of the composition of mostly organic samples. As a rule, the sample is thermally decomposed and the combustion gases are analyzed after purification. The focus is on elements such as carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur and oxygen.

In addition to a classic CHN analyzer, which can be used to analyze solid and liquid samples, we also have a separate instrument for oxygen determination and an instrument for thedetermination of sulfur and carbon in more complex matrices. The samples can be treated in an induction furnace with temperatures up to 4000 °C.
