Characterization of fuels for power plant operation 

The use of fuels requires precise knowledge of their compositions and properties. The analytical-chemical monitoring of the combustion processes also plays an important role in optimising the fuels used for effective operation of the plants and compliance with emissions. The fuel investigations serve to characterise the fuel quality, to investigate emission-relevant parameters and also to determine the key figures for CO2 monitoring.
Our customers include operators of large-scale power plants, thermal power stations and engineering service providers as well as research facilities at home and abroad.

We investigate a wide variety of construction and demolition waste as well as waste types (substitute or mixed fuels, de-inking or trapping materials, sewage sludge and animal meal (again for characterisation as fuel).
