Drinking Water

We cannot survive without drinking water. It must therefore be free of pathogens. Chemical substances must only be contained in concentrations that do not present a health risk. Regulated in the Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV), water supply companies need to conduct extensive chemical and microbiological analyses that confirm adherence to these requirements. Operators of self-sufficient and domestic systems also have to satisfy these standards.
